TheClinical Documentation Coordinator - Team Leadprovides management and clinical expertise in coordinating distribution of patient clinical information for purposes of inpatient co-management with referring primary care physician while patient is receiving care from Floyd Memorial Hospitalist Group.Responsibilities include the management of aninformation distribution process, cohesive divisional physician scheduling process,effective charge capture and billing process that supports optiaml revenue cycle managment and oversight that supports an integraged delivery system model aligned with Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.

Qualifications:

MD or foreign equivalent

Strong financial and analytical aptitude
Demonstrated knowledge of ICD-9-CM and CPT coding principals and guidelines
Able to analyze patient's clinical picture and documentation requirements and query physicians to capture accuratecoding/charge capture

Experience with project management and program development
