Description: LSI seeks a full-timeCare Coordinatorfor the Family, Safety, Risk, and Permanency (FSRP) services in Mason City and surrounding counties.
Duties: Provides direct service to assigned clients through use of assessment and diagnostic skills, varying intervention modalities, crisis intervention, case management, and advocacy by traveling by car to their homes, an office or other community settings, or by telephone. These activities may occur during normal business hours, after hours, or on weekends. Provides family support and crisis intervention to optimize the home environment for children and their parents through education, support and advocacy.
Coordinates and works collaboratively with the Family Support Worker to provide safety and permanency services to assure service delivery requirements are met for each case. Also monitors and effectively manages service delivery outcomes for achievement on each case, provides clinical support to Family Support Workers.
Qualifications: Qualified applicants will have a Master's degree or Bachelor-s degree in Social Work (BSW) or human behavior science field with a minimum of two (2) years full-time experience in Child Welfare Services. Acceptable human behavior science degrees are: psychology, sociology, counseling, and human/family services.
This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.
