JOB
Summary:
Leidos is seeking a Help Desk Manager on the Emergency Management Modernization Program (EM2P). This position will be responsible for the overall management of the 24/7 EM2P Help Desk to include Levels 1, 2 & 3 in support of the fielded equipment including Mass Warning Notification Systems (MWNS) and Enhanced 911 (E9-1-1). This person will serves as the client interface as well as work closely with internal departments.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Implement and manage the Help Desk in a three-level structure
Responsible for assuring users are provided efficient and timely first and second level support on a 24/7 basis
Monitors problem management database and follows up with assigned personnel to ensure timely resolution of problems
Performs staff scheduling to ensure Help Desk coverage during normal business hours and on-call support as required
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
BASIC
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher
Possess 8
years of experience working on projects/programs with at least 4 years of successful project management experience
Candidate also MUST meet eligibility requirements for obtaining secret security clearance
Must be willing to travel
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
ITIL Certification (Foundation)
Project management experience in telecommunications industry is desired
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
