Our Default Servicing team engages, understands and advises consumer real estate customers of available solutions to resolve mortgage delinquencies.
This role will require strong communication, analytical background (taking data and synthesize into a story), thought leadership and relationship management skills. Incumbent must have proven experience in analytics and data management in a financial industry. Successful candidate must have proven ability to effectively liaison across and within business functions, and experience in leading analytical and/or operational teams.
This role will function as a leader for Servicing Data & Analytics (SDA). This leader will help develop and execute the strategy and capability to perform data management and analysis in support of executive and regulatory reporting and analytics.
Specifically, this leader will:
Design, evaluate and drive overall data strategy. Establish a desired future state vision; developing the strategy to support the vision; gaining consensus across key functional leaders through effective communication; and driving vision to achieve goals and objectives by influencing individual and group goals, as well as reinforcements and systems.
Deliver analysis, insights and decision strategies for a functional area with impact across a business line(s) or with some enterprise-wide impact.
Provide leadership to the transformation of data into information and provide information and strategic insight that will assist leaders' decision-making relative to operational and regulatory risks that impact business outcomes.
Evaluate, recommend and implement strategies for developing and utilizing data and metrics to predict, improve and measure the success of fundamental risks to the mortgage operation.
Build and lead an outstanding team of analytical leaders who will provide consulting on data analysis and reporting capabilities for Servicing Data & Analytics.
Build collaboration across Servicing and SDA engaging key partners on critical initiatives.
Influence individuals or teams to deliver outside of their current structure.
Identify and integrate external market factors that impact or drive business outcomes.

years managerial experience.
Minimum
Qualifications:
This leader must have analytical experience with a track record of success managing large scale initiatives.
Successful candidates will be articulate and possess a demonstrated leadership capability; they will have strong interpersonal effectiveness and proven success influencing stakeholders.
Proven ability to clearly articulate ideas through verbal and written communication.
This leader will have substantial experience leading best-in-class analytical functions, and a thorough knowledge of highly disciplined business, financial and risk management processes.
Leadership, relationship management, and credibility will be determining factors in selection.
Demonstrated ability to take data and turn into a presentation/story and articulate the story surrounding the data to senior leaders in the organization.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with ability to apply critical judgment.
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience interfacing directly with external mortgage or bank regulators.
Working knowledge of regulatory compliance expectations of the mortgage servicing business.
