American Esoteric Laboratories Inc, (AEL), is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Laboratory team.
Job Description:
This position performs stat and routine clinical laboratory testing consistent with written procedures under the direction of a Laboratory Section Manager and/or the oversight of a Medical Technologist. This position is also responsible for the preparation, set-up and testing of specimens within the laboratory, in order to ensure timely and accurate results to clients. Quality Control and Instrument Maintenance are also part of the job responsibilities.
Requirements:
High School Diploma and completion of an AMA approved Medical Laboratory Training Program.
Previous laboratory experience and demonstrated knowledge of sample handling and collection requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office.
Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Strong phlebotomy skills with patients of all ages.
Experience:
Two years experience preferred.
Licensure, Registration, Certification:
Medical Laboratory Technician License and certification by ASCP or eligible.
