Responsibilities:

Under close direction, provides functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware and software operating systems for the organization's products.
Assists in the coding and maintenance of utility programs, job control language and input/output handling programs, as well as other software of minimal complexity.
Participates in systems design, integration and testing of modeling & simulation systems, communication & networking systems and assigned products to meet project requirements.
Works with senior software engineers during requirements generation, software design, test and integration.
Participates in planning, executing, monitoring, and reporting on integration and test activities.
Participates in identifying, analyzing, and resolving system trouble reports.
Works with senior engineers to learn engineering design and development practices, and how advanced technologies are applied to meet complex system operational requirements.
May assist in the maintenance of program libraries and technical manuals.
Required Qualifications:
Knowldege of various systems inside and outside government fabrication shop. Expertise with electronics and electrical installations.
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and zero to two years of related work experience.
Must have Secret clearance.
Qualifications:
Army Fabrication shop experience.
Top Secret SCI Clearance preferred.
