Summary:
An Electrical Technician is primarily responsible for electrical maintenance and project work on equipment associated with all aspects of the manufacture of vinyl sheet flooring. Some mechanical maintenance will also be required as necessary.
Job Requirements:
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
An Associate's/Technical degree or a minimum of 5 years skill-related experience
Strong electrical aptitude-electrical theory, motors, controls, conduit, schematics
Electrical knowledge and ability to program and troubleshoot PLC's
Strong communication, computer, organizational and interpersonal skills required to work in a team based environment
Self-initiative and high motivation
Ability to have a flexible work schedule (rotating shifts, 24/5 operation)
Basic mechanical aptitude
Qualifications:
Allen Bradley PLC, Ladder Logic, Wonderware, and Control Logix experience
Demonstrated ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of statistical process control
Demonstrated leadership skills
Desire for career progression
Ability to have a flexible work schedule including the ability to work rotating 8-hour or 12- hours shifts
Self-initiative and high motivation and ability to work with minimum supervision
This position is a regular, full-time employment opportunity including participation in a company bonus plan and a full benefits package. Starting base salary is $2,400 - $3,524/per month and is based on experience.
