General supervision of Warehouse team. Responsible for coordinating warehouse operational needs to meet the needs of production operations and plant shipping operations. Responsible for completing outbound and inbound shipments and production receipt at or below budget and in an efficient, sanitary, and safe manner. Performs in a manner that is fair, consistent and sustains positive employee relations. Also responsible for coordinating the entire warehouse operation. Supports Behavioral Based Safety and Nestle Continuous Excellence principles. shift to be determined
1. Ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
2. Maintain a sanitary work environment through team involvement in all areas of sanitation.
3. Supervise work related to daily schedule so that customer goals are reached.
4. Conduct team meetings.
5. Monitor direct reports.
6. Complete performance reviews and warehouse productivity assessments on an ongoing basis.
7. Review plant operations daily to ensure efficiency, address issues, and look for improvement opportunities.
8. Participate in customer visits.
9. Participate in warehouse cost meetings and other plant related meetings.
10. Coordinate and participate in finished product inventories.
11. Develop and maintain software systems expertise to represent, communicate, and resolve issues and provide opportunities to improve systems and efficiencies in warehouse operations.
12. Oversees training and development of new hires and warehouse bid job holders
13. Coordinate and administer special projects as assigned.
14 Coordinate temporary service employees as needed.
15. Incumbent required to work periodic weekends and/or off shift hours as business requires.
Good communication skills, demonstrative proactive cooperation, results focused, ability to work overtime including periodic weekends and holidays are required.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience (Years/Type) Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferaly in a warehouse environment; able to work independently; team building and mechanical skills required.
