Exact Job Duties to be Performed: Support the Engineering and Operations teams by providing relevant documentation and reviewing documentation authored by those teams for clarity, organization, and format.
o A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
o Actively engage stakeholders and project team members to ensure content is complete and meets the needs for the internal and extended enterprise consumption.
o Produce documentation that is accurate, complete, unambiguous, and concise. Designs, creates, and maintains the technical documentation.
o Documentation includes online help, user guides, white papers, design specifications, system manuals, and other documents.
o Acquire subject knowledge by interviewing SMEs and conducting research as necessary to produce accurate, comprehensive documents.
o Ability to learn and absorb technical and functional information efficiently and expeditiously. Strong listening and interviewing skills, with the ability to identify the best resources to approach and drive out detailed information. Ability to adjust their interview style to meet varying personalities and preferences of individual being interviewed across the enterprise; technical, non-technical, executives, etc.
o Assesses documentation requirements for each project and ensure documentation is finished when development is complete.
o Establishes and creates style guidelines and standard templates to meet business needs.
o Utilize hardware and software knowledge to create developer's guide and user guides.
o Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Acquires and organizes basic source material for presentation.
Provide detailed User Interface Design Documentation including graphics, work flow charts and feature descriptions and reports.
o Assist developers with UI design, form, function and flow. Design report layout.
Review all formalized documentation for content, grammar, organization, and proper use of company templates and branding.
o Review documentation that has been created in multiple context and forms, including multi-media, visual, auditory and written: printed, web-based or other electronic documentation, training materials.
Creates documents for internal and external customers, also ensures proper distribution of documentation.
o Produces and reviews documentation content and form for accuracy and completion.
o Ensures documentation is distributed to internal and external stakeholders channels as appropriate
Communicate with QA to obtain information and ensure validity of the documentation
o Participates as needed in quality assurance and testing.
o Installs and works with product for the purpose of creating end user documentation
Other Duties as Assigned by Manager
Including but not limited to:
o Provide guidance and assistance to peers
o Provide guidance in proper writing techniques.
o Assist with problems and questions related to software features, functionality, and compliance.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: o BS / BA degree in English / Computer Science plus three years of experience in a software development environment as a Technical Writer or equivalent experience.
o Excellent time management and organizational skills; and the ability to perform under pressure.
o Well developed oral and written communication skills, including attention to detail.
o Well developed analytical and creative processing skills.
o Ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
o Ability to Multi-task.
o Proficiency with the software tools we use: MS Suite, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence
o Knowledge of Networks, PC Hardware and Peripherals.
o Knowledge of Window's OS's (XP, Windows 2000
server, Vista, Windows 7).
o Must be flexible when asked to switch tasks upon a moment's notice.
Required Qualifications Only: o BS / BA degree in English / Computer Science plus three years of experience in a software development environment as a Technical Writer or equivalent experience.
o Excellent time management and organizational skills; and the ability to perform under pressure.
o Well developed oral and written communication skills, including attention to detail.
o Well developed analytical and creative processing skills.
o Ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
o Ability to Multi-task.
o Proficiency with the software tools we use: MS Suite, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
