Provides customer support in the planning and delivery of IT services including the receipt, acceptance, configuration, installation, and movement of all personal computers and equipment.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of IT configuration maps and related documentation for the network.
Analyzes, diagnoses and resolves operational problems involving a variety of hardware/software malfunctions, operation systems and interrelationships between host computer systems and remote access terminals.
Establishes test criteria and implementation plans for network operations to ensure all program modules and outputs for assigned projects are tested for completeness and accuracy.
Evaluates and modifies standard practices of IT techniques as required to meet complex challenges of hardware and software rollouts, imaging, standard configurations, anti-virus applications, patch management, group policies, and program scripting.
Works closely with customers to assist in preparation of requirements, system specifications, and other formal documentation to be used to accomplish the design and in the preparation of automated data conversion specifications, user manuals and other related documentation in accordance with DoD policy and standards.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement, qualified applicants must possess:
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized Experience is defined as: providing remote or desk side customer support services to include user management and configuration of hardware/software; and troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing complex systems hardware/software issues for clients running Windows 7 operating systems in a large-scale networked environment; AND in-depth experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory, to include creating accounts, folders, security groups, and permissions
Selective Placement Factor: Providing IT customer support in a Windows 7 environment. Applicants MUST demonstrate meeting the specialized experience and selective placement factor in their resumes to meet minimum qualifications for the position.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
