Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Front Desk Agent is to sell and assign rooms, register guests, render bills, receive cash and credit payments whole providing Unmatched Guest Services. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and the Sands Bethlehem Casino policies, practices, and procedures.
Maintains positive guest relations at all times, resolving guest complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Check guest in and out, in a fast, efficient and friendly matter.
Maintains confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
Obtains assigned bank and ensures accuracy of contracted monies
Performs other duties as directed.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Employment Requirements:18 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States, High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form, interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts, maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Sands Bethlehem appearance standards, maintain consistent adherence to the Sands Bethlehem Unmatched Guest Service Standards, work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Specific Position Requirements:Minimum, 6 Months previous cash handing experience required; 1 year continuous face-to-face guest service experience is preferred--preferably front desk experience. Previous experience with LMS and PC software (MS Word, Excel), basic typing skills, and excellent guest service skills are strongly preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written. Work in a fast-paced, busy and somewhat stressful environment. Must maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guest, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Must be able to frequently move freely about the office, maintain ,manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machines, etc. withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolong standing, stretching. Bend and kneeling with restriction. Be able to work indoors and exposed o various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and be able to access all areas of the property.

Must be able to qualify for and obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board License.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
