Elwood Staffing is currently partnering with a Manufacturing company in Cedar City who is looking for Manufacturing Associates. These are full-time temporary positions.
Job duties will include:
Inspect, pack and/or stack folders and other products from various machines wherever needed throughout the facility.
Actively contribute to cell operations including manufacturing processes and continuous improvement efforts.
Assist in monitoring quality to assure consistency with established standards.
Perform duties as assigned in a cooperative and supportive manner with a focus on teamwork and constructive interaction with co-workers.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
Skill Requirements:
Ability to perform assignments and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively and legibly-verbal and in writing
Application of good judgment and the ability to produce quality products
Demonstrated ability to constructively participate in a team environment
Maintain a work pace consistent with machine production levels and perform all duties in an efficient and time sensitive manner.
Ability to perform essential functions of the position and meet physical requirements.
Must display an excellent work ethic, a high performance level and above all, a positive and professional attitude.
Must demonstrate the ability to use standard hand tools and hand-lift truck
Hearing protection and the use of designated safety equipment is required at all times
