This is for 2nd Shift and Rotating Weekends
The Windows team is responsible for managing Windows 2003 & 2008. This role is to operate and support Windows, Citrix, vCenter / ESX within a highly available environment. Position requires an individual with the ability to self-guide through projects and to provide technical guidance and support.
Responsibilities include:
Remote administration of servers
Performance monitoring and analysis
Providing guidance to junior members on team
Creating change controls and perform installations
Some travel (approx. 10 mi)
Coordinating hardware replacement
Management of incidents through support system
Minimum
Qualifications:
3
years managing and supporting Windows Server 2003 / 2008 / 2012
2
years managing Citrix Presentation Server / XenApp
2
years managing VMware vCenter / ESX 3.5 / 4 / 4.1 or newer
1
year technical writing of documentation
