Ops Processor - Case Manager

Position Description
Purpose: To build strong relationships with distributions partners by acting as owners of New Business cases assigned to the Target Operating Model. Act as a liaison between Producers and the underwriting department.
Organizational Structure: This is a team environment, with number of team members to still be determined.
Essential Functions:
1. Provide administrative support to underwriters through case review/quality check, and ordering and following up on outstanding requirements. This includes:
Provide documentation in AWD and Vantage.
Collect information from Field personnel and vendors to complete the underwriting process.
Locate lab work and medical information.
Manage pending and delivery requirements.
Issue cases/place in force when all requirements are satisfied.
Make outbound calls or emails to Field personnel. Work with the distribution partners to gain their trust and confidence. Trouble-shoot and resolve problems.
Identify opportunities to improve service and efficiency.
Perform other duties assigned.
Position Requirements
The ideal Candidate should have:
1. One-two year's job relevant experience. Understanding of underwriting, new business and producer services department workflow.
2. Bachelor's degree preferred. High school graduate or equivalent required.
3. Ability to make sound and effective decisions.
4. A high energy level and positive attitude.
5. Good interpersonal skills and discretion in dealing with difficult situations.
6. Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Superior oral and written communication skills.
8. Good PC skills and systems proficiency (Issue System, NOVA, AWD).
