Who I'm Hiring:
A world-renowned game studio currently working on a AAA console title is looking for Technical Artists/Technical Directors who will support the sandbox team. We are looking for Character TDs, riggers and generalists with experience in character rigging and troubleshooting. This position requires a technically minded individual who has an obsessive eye for details and passion for ensuring game content consistently meets a high bar. Strong collaboration and great communication skills are essential as this role will be involved working closely with a diverse and highly experienced team.
What You Get to Do:
o Setup and support both simple and complex assets including props, weapons and vehicles. o Support content creation teams with everyday troubleshooting issues with tools, rigs and workflows. o Assist in education of content creations teams on workflow best practices. o Work with tools developers to augment and enhance content creation tools. o Ensure all game assets meet production technical standards requirements. o Some level of scripting in Maya is required, specifically with Mel and/or Python.
What You Bring:
o Experience with Autodesk Maya, Photoshop required. Expertise in other 3D software packages will be considered. o Candidate must have experience with character, vehicle and prop rigging. o Candidate must have strong knowledge of modern game development principles and techniques. o Candidate should have strong time management and communication skills. o Candidates should also be able to rapidly grasp new technical concepts and quickly become proficient in a new content pipeline. o Havok system experience is a bonus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
