Qualifications:
3
years providing 24/7 support for any production related activities on oracle 10 and 11g databases as part of global follow the sun support model
3
years experience with performance and tuning of Oracle databases to help developers and other support staff
4
years participating in physical and logical database design discussions
Preferred
Qualifications:
Cross train and help other members of the global oracle DBA support team
Participate in support tasks like, HA and DR tests, change and release management, capacity monitoring and management and upgrade and migration
Familiar with following technologies:
Oracle 10.x and 11.x on Solaris 10, RedHat Linux and AIX
Oracle RAC on Solaris 10, RedHat Linux
Exadata support experience
EMC storage
Perform resource and project management activities such as planning, sizing, development, testing, configuration and scheduling to ensure all enterprise wide initiatives for Oracle or MSSQL databases
Strong knowledge of project and time management with demonstrated technical and analytical skills
Strong team player with ability to work well with team members from other regions and cultures
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
