Systems and Application Engineer
Danfoss Power Solutions Systems and Applications Engineering - Americas is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide engineered system solutions to OEM and Distribution Customers.

Responsibilities:
As a Systems and Application Engineer you are the primary technical representative to the customer for Danfoss Power Solutions whose responsibilities include the following:
Specify Danfoss Power Solutions products and develop technical proposals for customer application needs.
Review the technical details of, and test customer machines to determine best usage of Danfoss Power Solutions products to meet the customer's performance and durability goals, and document this review for customer and Danfoss Power Solutions use.
Work with Account Managers, Market Managers and Business Area personnel to win new business and develop improvements to keep current business.
Respond to customer inquiries for technical data and/or assistance.
Review customer drawings, schematics and other vehicle system information in order to assist customer in determining best layout of our products.
Support service personnel in determining solutions to customer system operational problems.
Responsible for application technology assessment for both users and competitive suppliers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering; and 3 to 5 years experience in hydraulic component applications, system design or system analysis.
20-30% travel required within North America.
