Enviva's operating facilities represent approximately 1.7 million metric tons of annual capacity across 5 production facilities located in Virginia, North Carolina and Mississippi.
Enviva is looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Operations Director, who will serve as the overall business leader for the Southeast Operations Facilities. Successful candidates will possess strong leadership skills as defined by the 4E's of Leadership, be self-motivated, with good organizational skills, team-building skills, and achieve high level results by embracing continuous improvement methodologies.
Ensuring a safe environment 24x7.
Leading all regional level operations including safety, quality, cost, production, housekeeping, training, and maintenance.
Manage, train and provide performance feedback.
Preparing and achieving regional budget.
Making continuous improvement part of everyday life.
Relentless pursuit to identify root cause when complex operational challenges occur.
Bachelor of Science degree required. Graduate degree highly preferred.
Continuous Improvement Certification highly preferred (Lean or Six Sigma).
Manage By Objectives (MBO) experience.
Problem Solving Certification (Kepner-Tregoe) a plus.
7- 10 years operational experience, preferably in a plant leadership role.
Experience in the biomass or wood pellet industry a plus.
Proficient computer skills required (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Compensation will consist of a competitive salary and benefits.
