Flexo press helper needed to assist operator to set up presses. Several shifts available.

Summary:
Assist with and setup flexographic presses. Assist in cleaning press and press area after production runs. Provide support that will enable operators to keep up with production rates, scrap rates and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
Assist in press setup, which includes changing gearings, inks, anilox rolls, dies, plates, print cylinders, turn bars, delam/relam equipment, doctor blades, and turrets.
Assist in cleaning press and press area after production runs.
Operate presses through lunch times and when operators are absent.
Supply presses with all necessary chemicals, rags, etc.
Ensure rolls are placed on Martin Splicers in a timely manner to reduce down time.
Follow instructions and adhere to training provided by Press Operators and other Press Setup employees.
Follow job jacket instructions as it relates to press operations.
Mount plates.
Mix and tone inks as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
The minimum requirement for this position is a high school diploma (or GED); prior experience in the flexography printing business is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
Mechanical background a plus
Good troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and understand measuring tools scales, densitometers, loupes, ink mixer, video inspection units, etc.
Ability to differentiate colors
Self-motivated, multi-tasking , industrious worker
Ability to prioritize
Team player
Ability to take directions from multiple press operators following setup and cleanup instructions
Good organizational skills
Ability to receive and constructive feedback and learn from constructive criticismEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
