Job Description
We would require previous experience in developing content management based site in Sitecore.
Strong technical skills are required in the areas of Sitecore and .Net development, database, and front-end development.
Experience in many or most of the follow technologies is expected: ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, CSS, Responsive Design, C#, XML, XSLT, XSD, SQL Server, Transact-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, WCF Services, Windows Services, Web Services, Team Foundation Server and Build setupexecution, IIS setup and configuration.
Required Skills
Strong hands on experience developing in our enterprise content management system - Sitecore
SiteCore developer certification is preferred
Experience with Sitecore upgrades, DMS and test and target is preferred
Able to successfully deliver projects using Agile methodologies - participate daily stand up meetings, quickly adjust to new challenges to resolve and keep your on track for their sprints while balancing production support
Mentors, provides guidance and direction to lower-level developers
Strong troubleshooting skills
Able to participate and lead a production issue call, work with various teams and resolve Severity 1 and Severity 2 issues
Strong knowledge and ability to build simplified, stable and high performing content management websites
Ability to recommend and implement refactoring to improve performance, maintainability and scalability
Create technical specifications based on functional specifications as needed
Write code to meet technical specifications.
Performs peer and project team code reviews
Test code and make appropriate modifications.
Complete appropriate documentation in compliance with all procedures and standards.
Recommend improvements/modifications to designs.
Advise Requirements Engineers and non-technical people on issues as appropriate
Report progress to managers, customers and other required parties as appropriate and adjusting communication style to ensure proper messaging is done
Contributes to and manages small to large tasks and projects.
Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices and processes of software development. Significant expertise needed to complete complex assignments. Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts.
Assignments are broad in nature and require ingenuity and originality.
Solves complex problems often taking a new perspective using existing solutions.
Works under general direction with latitude to proceed on some actions or decisions.
Required Experience
5 or more years of experience as a software developer
Ability to lead and mentor developers
Experience with Agile processes preferred.
Bachelors degree in computer-related area or equivalent proven experience as a software developer.
Experience coding/programming/ developing with working knowledge of Sitecore, .Net, and SQL development.
Applied knowledge of object oriented programming techniques, methods and structures.
Applied knowledge of data access and update techniques, methods and structures.
Applied knowledge of multi-tier internet application architectures using Microsoft technologies
Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team
Ability to rapidly learn and apply new, emerging application development and integration technologies and techniques.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats.
Ability to create and maintain positive, productive working relationships with both technical and non-technical personnel.
Ability to meet project-related commitments on time and with the highest standards of quality.
Provides technical and functional support for web content management system and associated web applications to maintain an agreed upon service level to our internal business customers.
Coordinates and escalates issues, activities, tasks and projects with internal manager and IT teams as needed.
