Leading Manufacturer of Broadband access equipment is currently seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler for their facility located in Largo, Florida. The Production Scheduler/Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining assigned Master schedules for production of finished goods to achieve sales, inventory, and service levels goals established. This is a full-time, entry-level position.

Minimum Requirements
Requires Bachelor's Degree in business or technical.
Experience or familiar with manufacturing processes for controlling manufacturing capabilities and build plans is a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Access)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and normal e-mail
Must be able to compose professional correspondence via e-mail
Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment.
Must be detailed-oriented and results driven with strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective cross-functional relationships.
Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to multitask.
Must have excellent inter-personal, and organizational skills
Must be able to effectively read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
Must be able to work limited amounts of overtime on short notice including nights, weekends and holidays when needed, especially at end of calendar quarter.
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Summary of Essential Job Functions Areas of Developmental Training
Responsible for developing production schedules for both circuit card assemblies (CCA's) & models to ensure smooth flow of work through the manufacturing process and to meet Customer Ship Dates.
Commits to sales order delivery dates and on-time delivery of materials to meet those dates.
Works current and future part shortages with both the Master Scheduler and the Buyers.
Request and supply work order documentation for Manufacturing and Shipping.
Monitor material availability, track progress of production, and review factors that may affect schedules.
Analyze capacity, negotiate, recommend, and revise finished goods plans, as appropriate, to resolve the identified capacity issues and/or develop alternatives for upper management decisions.
Revise schedules, as necessary, to optimize efficiencies while maintaining target delivery performance.
Monitor and maintain MRP work orders for proper system planning
Works with Master Planner-Scheduler and Sales Support Center on expedited and hotline type orders to assure customer satisfaction
Maintain open communications with Master Planners-Schedulers, Manufacturing and Shipping regarding schedule changes so that proper component inventory requirements can be achieved.
Identify when labor routings need to be created for new products and work with Production Eng to have them created.
Compiles system generated exception reports as defined by departmental procedures and objectives.
Supports ISO documentation.
Helps other Scheduler/Planner with part and floor issues as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
