A Major Manufacturing company in Macon, GA seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team. This is a newly created position reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources.
Key
Responsibilities:
Design a multi-faceted applicant sourcing strategy.
Develop accompany-wide training initiatives.
Provide guidance to managers on performance management, talent development, company policies and practices, and HR tools.
Facilitate annual performance appraisal and promotion administration.
Manage employee relations, including: internal communications, plan and execute agency meetings, guide managers on performance improvement plans, facilitate terminations and exit interviews, manage personnel matters such as leaves of absence, employee conflicts and personnel development.
Plan and execute career development services.
Develop mentorship program.
Implementing a Human Resources applicant tracking system.
Develop an employee relocation program.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in HR or Business Administration.
A minimum of 5 years' experience required.
Knowledge of all state and Federal lobor and employment laws and regulations
Exceptional skills in all Michrosoft applications i.e Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Prior manufacturing experience a required.
Experience in a Union environment helpful.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
