Responsibilities:
Creation of strategies that will help the company achieve the most competitive parts pricing. Strategies include annual supplier cost reduction planning and supplier VA/VE participation, emphasis on SQCD and Supplier Improvement & Development strategies. Coordinate, manage and create purchasing activities for new model programs and mass production such as part cost change analysis and reporting, evaluation and approval. Also includes parts maker layout oversight and control.
Position
Summary:
Lead and communicate with our suppliers on behalf of the group companies
Meet our customers needs, expectations and deadlines with group companies targets considered
Ensure goals, strategies and objectives of the group are communicated and carried out
Ensure associates interface with assigned suppliers and departments, meeting their needs accurately and timely
Create and deploy strategic supplier initiatives in regards to supplier QCD performance improvements
Facilitate and engage cooperation between CCR departments and other groups within the company
Support the department business plan to achieve stated targets.
Ensure that established procedures are being followed and propose appropriate changes as necessary
Lead projects for various programs and initiatives within CCR.

Desired Skills and
Experience:
4 year degree in a business related field or equivalent work experience or experience in related field
Preferred experience in Automotive Industry
Demonstrated success with SQCD related activities
Knowledge of Supplier Improvement and Development
Involvement with Process Improvement is a plus
Lean Six Sigma experience is beneficial
Project Management experience a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
