BJ's Wholesale Club introduced the warehouse club concept to the northeastern United States in the mid-1980s. Since then, the chain has expanded its operations to more than 200 Clubs in 15 states from Maine to Florida.
Job Description
The Customer Service Manager is responsible for managing the front line register and service desk areas of the Club in order to achieve a high level of member satisfaction and operational control, compliance with all Company front-end and membership standards and enforcement of policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:
Training and scheduling all front-end Team Members including supervisors, membership and service desk personnel
Developing, training, supervising, and evaluating performance of Front Line team Members
Help the Club create a positive shopping experience for its Members
Help the Club achieve a cycle shrink plan through proper executive of re-pack and EAS program
Acting as the Manager on Duty when necessary
Other responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
High school diploma
College degree preferred
Knowledge of cash register and membership procedures
1 - 3 years in various supervisory positions in a retail environment
