Position Description
AIG Corporate Finance has an exciting opportunity for a Data Governance Analyst in our Finance Transformation organization based in Berkeley Heights, NJ.
This role will support the Finance Transformation team to define an overarching governance framework that can support enterprise-wide standards and common financial views across AIG for key SAP GL codeblock elements. The analyst will drive the definition and documentation of key data, process and technology requirements to operationalize the governance model. Other
Responsibilities:
Assist with tool selection, build and/or implementation.
Working closely with subject matter resources from various Business Units and functional areas within the business units, the analyst will define target state governance standards and policies, templates and process flows.
Drive project execution, facilitate workshops and cross-regional stakeholder communication, as well as develop comprehensive process and policy documentation.
Analyze current governance gaps on existing codeblock fields
Engage functional SMEs to confirm key governance requirements
Identify upstream and downstream data and process impact
Define future state process and technical requirements
Obtain stakeholder agreement on future state governance standards and policy changes
Support governance tool selection and configuration
Establish governance cutoff calendar
Prepare and deliver change management materials (training, periodic communication, etc.)
Develop and coordinate program governance documentation
Provide guidance and advisory support to high-priority projects as appropriate
Work effectively as a team member and a lead contributor

Position Requirements
Undergraduate degree
Minimum 5-10 years experience in complex, multi-segment, corporate environments
Expertise in all aspects of business process documentation and transformation
Track record of success in delivering similar business process transformation initiatives as part of large scale and complex process implementation projects
Collaboration with cross functional teams
Strong personal discipline to excel
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as well as strong listening skills to understand our internal client's needs
Ability to handle multiple initiatives with competing interests for time and evolving priorities
Ability to adapt easily to change
Strong analytical and process orientation with the ability to define and validate as-is processes as well as to design to-be processes
Understanding of the intersection of business processes with system processes
Understanding of finance and accounting processes, preferably in an insurance industry environment
Strong attention to detail to document high level and in-depth business processes
Proficiency with methodology and tools such as Microsoft Visio for documenting processes
Demonstrated ability to work closely with project teams, business and senior executives as part of a joint team

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
