Permanent Full time This position is for an Administrative Services Assistant in the Office of Management Services, Management Programs Division of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). Incumbent performs a variety of administrative services; inventories, controls, and issues a wide variety of supplies and equipment; provides incoming and outgoing mail services, including special mail packaging and delivery; and schedules and oversees transportation services. You must possess a valid State license and have a safe driving record. Demonstrate that you are medically qualified to operate a motor vehicle. The Administrative Services Assistant duties are:
Develops and administers systems to provide office supplies to FinCEN staff.
Develops systematic approach to maintaining supplies in the administrative services center so that supplies may be easily located and retrieved.
Administers systems for mail and package pick-up and delivery.
Maintains records of acquisitions and expenditures.
Receives requests for transportation services and prepares a daily schedule of courier and executive transportation trips.
Ability to train and direct staff and set and establish priorities in carrying out duties involved in providing delivery, pick-up, chauffeur services and vehicle maintenance, as well as to assist in supply, mail, and chauffeur activities.
As needed, operates vehicles to provide chauffeur or passenger transport services and to deliver or pick up mail and supplies.

Experience: Applicants must have one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 level that indicates the ability to develop procedures for inventorying, controlling and issuing supplies and equipment; coordinate mail and transportation services; conduct basic research on these functions; train and direct staff and establish priorities; and interact effectively with customers, staff, vendors and suppliers.
The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
