We have an immediate need for a Payroll Administrator at our Lebanon, TN office, to administer the Hourly Payroll function.
Position requires meeting regular, strict deadlines.
Timely and accurate weekly processing of payroll for hourly employees in multiple US facilities.
Maintain employee payroll master data, including deductions, garnishments, direct deposit and tax data.
Assist in processing of monthly pension payroll for hourly and salaried retirees.
May assist in salaried payroll administration as required.
Handling pension and payroll customer service calls.
Provide backup to payroll manager.
Support Kronos timekeeping system and end-users.
Associate or Bachelor's Degree (Accounting preferred) or equivalent payroll experience. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Must have 5-10 years of payroll experience
Must demonstrate proficiency with Kronos programs and processes.
Maturity and discretion in handling highly confidential information is a must.
Must be detail oriented and possess strong analytical skills.
Must work well under tight deadlines.
Excellent PC, communication and organizational skills are necessary.
Experience in SAP payroll environment is preferred
Knowledge of payroll tax administration and associated regulations
Must work independently and have the ability to define and resolve problems.
Must be extremely reliable and a self-starter.
Aptitude and desire to learn in the evolving payroll environment.
Willingness and ability to travel.
Must be willing and able to work on a team and demonstrate sound interpersonal skills.
Supervisory skills desirable.
