Our client, a Fortune 100 company, is looking to hire a Commercial Counsel to be located in their Florham Park, NJ location. This key member of the legal team will provide pragmatic strategic and day-to-day legal advice and support, including antitrust analysis and guidance, to a large number of departments within the company. These include Technical Procurement, Engineering, Information Technology, Logistics Procurement, and Supply Chain Logistics.

Key projects would be legal support in the areas of: construction; engineering; capital equipment and material acquisition; facility maintenance and management; outsourcing of internal services; site demolition and remediation; hazardous waste transportation, storage and disposal; mining; rail, motor carrier, marine and air transportation; acquisition of computer hardware, software and peripheral equipment; data and voice telecommunications; warehousing; bulk terminaling; transloading and vendor managed inventory; third-party payment services; customs brokerage and freight forwarding; and retention of third party manpower, professional and consulting services.

Responsibilites:
Business management and operational personnel of specific business units, as assigned, on all commercial matters and legal issues arising in the course of that business
Identify issues requiring, and establish and manage, cross-functional teams (e.g., intellectual property, tax, litigation, regulatory, and/or compliance counsel, risk management, finance, EH&S, etc.) to ensure complete and efficient resolution of all functional and business unit matters/transactions.
Lead negotiations, both internal and with external parties, and draft transactional documents, ranging from the simple to sophisticated and complex (including M&A transactions), for the assigned function and business units, in each case with the assistance and input of the above-referenced teams as necessary.
Provide compliance and legal training on relevant policies, procedures and legal issues to meet functional and business unit clients' needs.

Requirements:
Juris Doctorate from an ABA- accredited law school
Current license to practice law in at least one U.S. state
5 - 10 years of relevant legal experience
In-house corporate counsel experience required
-Significant commercial negotiation and drafting experience and representative deal sheet
-Proficient in antitrust analysis and counseling
-Demonstrated well-developed and real-world business judgment
-Ability to constructively interact with diverse groups at all levels of the organization
-Team-oriented, collaborative work style with strong self-initiative and ability to work independently
-Technical procurement (especially construction), logistics procurement, information technology, engineering, and / or supply chain logistics experience preferred.
Must be a team player and have exceptional work ethic
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
