Designing new and continuously improving existing farming equipment products;
Directing the coordinating of all aspects of design, layout, tooling, and prototyping;
Directing the coordinating of all aspects of the manufacturing processes and procedures, product testing, quality assurance standards, and purchasing standards for raw materials and components;
Providing product support for outside sales, dealers and customers;
Providing reports and documentation support.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree preferred; Agricultural Engineering desired.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience or training in the design or new product development of agricultural equipment;
Background in the design, operation and use of Ag Equipment or passionate about agriculture and farming operations;
Knowledge and familiarity with Autodesk 3-D programs, Autodesk Inventor, Catia, Pro-E, Solid Works or Solid Edge;
Experience with coordinating fabrication, prototyping, fixturing and tooling processes, and designing control systems;
Experience with ISOBUS systems;
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
