Description
Performs and oversees the daily operations, functions and activities of the Patients Accounts Department including assisting patients with billing, payments and insurance. Ensures department compliance of all applicable laws, policies, and procedures. Provides training and education for staff; provides daily oversight for the Eligibility Workers
Acts as the Admitting Manager in their absence.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree and/or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Experience: Minimum four years hospital business office experience. Thorough knowledge of third party reimbursement, federal and state admissions, billing and payment policies, and legal aspects of collections required.
