Job Description POSITION
Summary:
Under general supervision, performs analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, design and installation of new and existing personal computer systems. Works on moderately complex applications. Confers with end users to determine types of hardware and software required. Writes programs to fulfill requirements or selects appropriate off-the-shelf software and modifies to suit. May maintain or utilize telecommunications protocols. Installs new hardware and maintains existing hardware. Trains end users in use of equipment and software.
The Systems Administrator I monitors Tier 1/2 server operations and performance using appropriate software applications and tools. The Administrators shall be the POC for all NIPR and SIPR enterprise systems issues, create and/or manage trouble tickets, and monitor status and report outages to NOSC Operations.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES: Please list by order of priority and, if possible, provide the percentage of time spent on the activity all should equal 100%.
1. Operates and maintains all aspects of server administration to include but is not limited to Microsoft 200X Active Directory, WINS, DNS, DHCP, print queues etc.
2. Daily administration of Exchange 200X servers and Outlook Web Access.
3. Microsoft SMS, MOM, SCCM and WSUS.
4. Veritas BackupExec to conduct file server Backup / Restores.
5. Maintain Systems Availability and perform regular maintenance on equipment.
6. Proficient at hardware maintenance and troubleshooting of various vender Server platforms including Dell, HP, LTO tape library, fiber switch, and SANs.
7. Maintaining antivirus / security requirements by the US Army standards and regulations.
8. Provides user and Microsoft Exchange account maintenance as required.
9. Performs other duties as required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Working environment will be 90% office and 10% desktop support.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Working environment will be 90% office and 10% desktop support. Individual should be able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.

Experience: MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
Associates Degree in IT or related field. This position requires DoDI 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification and corresponding Computing Environment certification. Must have at least one of the following: Security+, GSEC, SCNP, or SSCP. Also must have one of the following CE certifications: CCNP, CCVP, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP Server Administrator preferred.
Experience:
At least 5 years of practical experience working with Windows Server and Active Directory. Understanding of basic security principles and their application to an Active Directory Environment. Must be able to work rotating shift schedules which provide 24 hour day/7 day week coverage.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
