GENERAL FUNCTION
Run and make minor adjustments to production equipment to produce parts which conform to quality specifications; perform changeovers, weekly pump changes and combo's, line clearance and cleaning.
Work as one of a team in respective filling line for maximum effectiveness and optimal task methods, which includes visual inspection operations, operating equipment, and automated operations, molding, filling, sterilizing machine operations. Perform clean room cleaning/sanitizing.
Required to perform all jobs in operation and operate all respective machinery at a production rate equal to or higher than the established standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance
Make adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain process quality and productivity.
Perform product or equipment changeovers.
Assist set ups with equipment repairs.
Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and comply with GMP requirements.
Perform quality inspections, process tests and record data accurately as required.
Communicate with utilities or department scheduling group to maintain minimal material inventory levels.
Work as team member to develop optimal task methods.
Participate in department business team and actively support process improvement team efforts.
Prior experience in clean room operations desired, will be trained on clean room practices/garments.
Must be able to pass gowning certification.
Strong desire to learn and implement GMP's for filled products, learn entire filled syringe operation.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and take individual ownership in position.
High School Diploma or GED
PCP Level 3
