Senior Clinical Systems Analyst-Nashville

Ascension Information Services (AIS), located in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join a well-established Clinical Applications Support and Development Team. The successful applicant should have experience with Cerner Rules and writing CCL reports. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with customers to define business requirements, performing custom coding that will meet or exceed these requirements, will implement these changes utilizing a well-established change control process.
Application Support:
Trouble shoot custom rules and reports to make sure they are working correctly
Update support and maintenance documents as needed
Provides productions support as part of an on-call rotation that provides 24x7 support
Review CCL scripts written by Cerner to ensure they do not have a negative impact on our application prior to running.
Maintenance
Perform standard maintenance tasks which may include
Testing of upgrades and infrastructure changes that may impact rules and reports
Develop test plans for Regression, Integration and unit testing
Performing routine updates to rules and repots to make sure they continue to preform properly as required by regulatory agencies.
Enhancements
Work with customers to develop new requirements
Work with enhancements as provided by the vendor or desired by the business owner
Optimize existing reports to improve performance and efficiency
Develop rules and reports to support application improvements including now workflow
Support special initiatives as identified

Three to five years working with Cerner CCL, Rules or a combination ,
Five years' experience in Information Technology supporting clinical applications
Experience with HTML strongly preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Management Information systems strongly preferred.
Understanding or experience in Clinical Setting strongly preferred
Strong understanding of Clinical Applications and workflow
Excellent analytical abilities necessary along with good problems solving skills
Ability to work in a team environment but still be able to work independently
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize work appropriately
Strong Microsoft Office Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to fulfill the requirements of an On Call Rotation.
Willingness to reside within commutable distance of Nashville, TN.
