Bowhead is hiring for a Program Finance Analyst (FA) to assist in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis. The FA will also review budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. Additionally the FA analyzes budgeting and accounting reports for the purpose of maintaining expenditure controls and ensures compliance with internal procedures and DAR/FAR government regulations. The Program FA will track progress and financial analysis of delivery orders, reviews invoices and monthly reports and may assist in the preparation of proposals for new and existing delivery orders.
This position requires occasional climbing of stairs and lifting of less than 20lbs.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including expertise with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience preparing and working with reports.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures in dealing with FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ contracts.
Detailed oriented to ensure extreme accuracy with respect to financial model development.
Ability to self-motivate and stay on task.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate information to senior management.
Team player.
Required Experience
Bachelors degree (preferred) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experienceor an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidates must follow all company Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program Requirements.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
