The PeopleSoft Financials Senior Consultant is responsible for consulting on PeopleSoft engagements, including implementation, upgrade, and/or extension of existing applications.
The consultant is responsible for hands-on configuration of PeopleSoft Financial modules (AP, GL, AM, ePro, PC, Expense Management) as well as for assisting clients in the selection, implementation and support.
The consultant will be involved in leading clients through design workshops and validation, configuration, testing, deployment cycles.
He/she will provide Technical knowledge & manage client relationships within context of individual role.
Candidates should have at least 2 full life cycles with hands-on configuration/development experience in multiple modules, PeopleSoft 9.1 and relevant industry experience.
Responsibilities
1. Project Support: Provide innovative, quality solutions consistent with best practice methods to meet client projects goals and objectives.
2. Provide remote-based PeopleSoft FSCM support for clients Production instances.
3. Support clients with customizations and provide implementation and best practices advice.
4. Provide guidance and resolution for application issues.
5. Develop application break fixes for critical product defects.
6. Develop strong support-based relationship with our clients.
7. Ability to understand and trouble shoot environment related issues across all platforms and tools 8.4x 8.5x.
8. Work Delivery: Produce clear and concise project related documentation, project artifacts, and work products.
9. Risk Mitigation: Advise clients on project risks, impacts, and options as they are encountered throughout the course of a project.
10. Project Support: Support project team for successful delivery of the clients business requirements through all phases of the implementation. Participate in weekly project status meetings for assigned team and issues meetings.
Skills and Abilities
1. Expertise in SQR, Application Engines, Integration Broker, PeopleCode/Application Packages, COBOL, Component Interface, SQL.
2. Expertise with Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Informix, Sybase or other RDBMS.
3. Ability to generate, retrieve and analyze complex trace files (SQL, PeopleCode, Application Engine, COBOL).
4. Expert problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
5. Self-starter that is interested in tackling new challenges and continually expending his/her skillset.
6. Must be able to conduct FitGap, configuration workshops, walk-through module
7. Must have good communication skills, technical specs, test scripts as required
8. Experience and knowledge of integration points to and from PeopleSoft ERP suites.
9. Demonstrated experience developing and executing test cases and scripts to evaluate system changes. Experience utilizing automated testing tools a plus.
10. Experience in documenting as-is and to-be process flows, eliciting and documenting system change requirements, identifying and evaluating alternative solutions, and writing business cases.
11. Understands implementation methodologies.
12. Communicates effectively in both written and verbal formats.
13. Resolves problems in a timely and effective manner, involving project management as appropriate.
14. Successfully manages relationship with clients and colleagues.
15. Effectively produces deliverables.
16. Contributes to presales efforts as required.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Degree from accredited college or university in computer science, engineering, a directly related field; or equivalent work and/or industry experience.
2. 5-8 years of experience working directly with PeopleSoft ERP Suites.
3. 2 full lifecycle PeopleSoft ERP implementation.
4. Proficient or lead on at least two PeopleSoft modules.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
