Job Description:
A fortune 200 client in Nashville, TN is looking to bring on a long-term HR Systems Project Manager consultant for at least one year (could go up to two). The right Project Manager will have significant experience running IT projects revolving around HR Systems (could be SAP, Oracle, Lawson, etc - this company utilizes SAP, but prior SAP experience is not necessary - just HR Systems). From day one, this Project Manager consultant will be working on the Vendor Optimization project. They will be assisting in evaluating their current vendor, risk assessments, contribute to contract negotiations, and help with potential vendor migration initiatives, among other things).
Looking deeper into the HR Systems pieces, specific experience with Payroll, Organization Management (structures, compensation side, etc.), and Benefits are what this client is looking for. From a soft skill side, they are looking for a Project Manager that is a driver and has strong communication skills. Someone obviously that can speak clearly, but specifically someone, for example, who knows what type of written communication is appropriate, how to present/speak to varying levels of management (speaking to a C-Level vs. a Director/Manager you report directly to vs. a fellow Project Manager), and someone who is knowing how to tailor your message to the audience you are speaking with.
Must Haves:
At least 5 years of IT PM experience in enterprise/large environment
At least 3 years of HR Systems experience (SAP preferable, but NOT necessary)
Vendor Management experience (securing vendors, transitioning to new vendors, vendor migration, risk assessments with vendors etc.)
Manage project budgets
Strong communication skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
