Skill Requirements
> Applicant is required to be a Class A Tool & Die Maker in order to understand the principles of
tooling.
> Previous AutoCAD experience.
> Demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
> Demonstrate strong organizational skills in order to deal with outside vendors.
> Demonstrate a HANDS ON approach in relation to die troubleshooting, modifications and improvements.
> Demonstrate ability to give direction as required to meet all requirements.
Principle Duties and/or Responsibilities
> Physically work on tooling, tooling related problems and assist toolmakers in daily troubleshooting
within the toolroom and in the press department to ensure tools are operating at peak efficiency.
> Delegate troubleshooting and die maintenance responsibilities in a clear and concise manner.
> Assist Toolmakers / Apprentices and toolroom staff to make quality and tooling related decisions for
long term solutions.
> Consistently address problems and make / implement solutions to improve efficiencies, process and
product flow, safety and quality.
> Work closely and co-operatively with the other Managers and Team Leaders on day to day issues.
> Fill in all reports properly and completely.
> Report all necessary quality, production or safety problems to the Tooling Manager.
> Must have the ability to be on the job during normal business hours.
> Ability to establish tracking system to grade all tooling vendors for quality and delivery and document all findings
in log book.
> Must have the ability to document changes to include detail prints and/or procedures to dies and track the
results as die repairs, modifications and improvements are made.
Principle Duties and/or Responsibilities - continued
> Must have strong inter-personal skills to allow clear communication.
> Must be able to maintain assigned group of dies. This will include all aspects from initial die design review,
to the quality of the parts being produced.
> Adequately stock the tool crib with spare parts, using a computer to track stock and
organize the toolcrib in a fashion to ensure available stock of tooling components at all times.
> Responsible for quoting and purchasing replacement details, according to budget.
> Purchase spare parts, die sections, supplies, etc., for toolcrib at best buy conditions.
> Expand tooling supply base to achieve adequate supply at reasonable pricing.
> Use AutoCAD for updating and making prints as needed.
> Work with production to ensure good quality parts.
> Incoming inspection of all tooling entering the plant to include die details, shop supplies, etc,.
> Establish quarterly goals and objectives with the Tooling Manager.
> Continuous Improvements will be driven by tooling cost reductions, by improving usage or
lower price without sacrificing quality.
> Interact with toolmakers to ensure the tool room supplies are adequate.
> Be involved in continuous improvement of the tooling, (i.e., coatings, different metals).
> Available for overtime and training as required.
> Other duties as assigned by Tooling Manager.
> Must be able to work within the budget allowed for the area of responsibility they are assigned.

> Standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching and lifting required daily
> Must be able to lift 35 lbs multiple times throughout the day

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
