On behalf of our client Procom Services is searching for a Lead ETL Developer to work with data warehouse designers to develop and implement ETL Solutions. The ETL Lead Developer will lead ETL design and development of a complex nature. Also lead the small group (2-4) of ETL developers for a given project. Candidates must be W2 only.
Lead ETL Developer Job Details
Performs ETL design and development of a complex nature. Works with the US Data Warehouse Designers to develop and implement ETL solutions. The Software Developer will be part of a team responsible for building out and maintaining the US data warehouse. Design extract, transform and load (ETL) software components. Develop and Test ETL software using SQL, Unix Shell Scripts, Informatica - version 8.6 and/or 9 edition. Document software and operational procedures. Work independently with little direct supervision in the development of ETL. Provide detailed analysis of problems and recommends solutions. Experience with Meta PowerExchange and XML sources are strong pluses. Excellent analytical skills. Must be completely self-sufficient with Informatica version 8.6 and/or 9 edition, and have strong understanding of dimensional database design. (Kimball methodology). Must be a very clear and effective communicator.
