Knetik Media is seeking an experienced and self-driven Technical Writer to join our growing team. You will be an integral part in the development team, working closely with the senior and lead engineers on a variety of engaging projects. As a product based company, we primarily focus on the ongoing development and advancement of our internal platforms. Our development environment is dynamic and fluid; utilizing agile development philosophies to ensure we stay on top of everything.
Key Experience Required:
Champion documentation effort and pipeline.
Maintain revision control for documentation.
Explain scientific and technical ideas in simple language.
Create user documentation for a variety of material, including APIs, how-to guides and instruction manuals.
Ensure technical verbiage is easy to understand by the layperson.
Prepare charts, graphs, or forms to go along with rough drafts.
Write clear and concise policies and procedures.
Adjust copy as necessary and proofread for grammar and spelling.
Follow documents through from creation, approval to release.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity of Java, XML, PHP, REST, RDBMS, Symfony, etc.
Position Details:
Contract Position with Potential for Permanent Role
Flexible Working EnvironmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
