Position Summary : Company Description :
We currently have a full time position available for an Account Specialist/ Superintendent who will manage relationships with Athletic Directors and Coaches on our portfolio of high school and middle school sports / athletic fields. The Candidate would work closely with the Account Manager on turfgrass issues, irrigation, turfgrass weeds, insect control, turfgrass diseases, pesticides applications, fertilizer applications, striping for practice and competition, overseeding, infield care, record keeping, management of existing staff, and overall implementation of the sports / athletic field program.
Responsibilities:
Account Specialists/ Superintendents are also responsible for:
Building strong customer relationships by becoming the main point of contact for a customer and learning how to become the customer's trusted landscape maintenance advisor
Training with Account Manager to effectively take over the planning, assigning and directing of work for crew leaders and landscape gardeners
Managing the contract renewal process - coordinating information between branch and customers
Training employees on best practices in order to deliver our maintenance service safely, efficiently and proactively
Preparing proposals and customer budget worksheets and participating in presentations to win proposals
Basic
Qualifications:
Proficient with computer software programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong work ethic
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Customer service experience
Eligibility Requirements:

Desired Characteristics:
Prefer Bachelors degree in Turfgrass, Ag Business, Horticulture, Ag Science, Landscape Maintenance, Agronomy, or Plant and Soil Science
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
3 years of experience in sports/athletic fields or golf courses
Strong connection to the outside work environment
Strong understanding of irrigation systems and clock management
Strong organizational and planning skills
Desire to deliver outstanding results
