Sulzer Mixpac USA, Inc. is seeking an Applications / Staff Engineer for our Salem, NH office.
The Applications/Staff Engineer is responsible for supporting sales activities by assessing customer requirements, assist in preparing proposals, and helping to negotiate necessary revisions to promote the closing of the sales. Also assists in the design and testing of new products, improvements to existing product and helps support local manufacturing with production inluding tool maintenance procdures, repairs, and processing.
_Education, Experience, and Skills:_
Bachelor's of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Plastics preferred)
2-5 yrs. experience in a related Engineering position
Experience using Solidworks
Knowledge of strength of plastic materials and structural design
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and tolerances
Knowledge and skills necessary to navigate laboratory equipment, design experiements, prove theories, and report findings
Ability to travel including occasional international travel

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
