A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a Business Analyst to join our team in Albany, New York.
This individual will be expected to provide expertise and hands-on participation in the following activities:
Work with end users and review/analyze existing documentation to document business system requirements and processes.
Facilitate and participate in business user and stakeholder meetings for requirement gathering sessions. This will include but not limited to the Forensic Investigation Center, Division of Criminal Justice Services, State Police & several areas within the Office of Information Technology Services (security, networking, workstation, architecture and database)
Develop, write, and maintain a comprehensive business requirements document which will include enhancements that may need to be made to the CHOP application to meet the business user needs
Work closely with the project manager to ensure timely deliverables.
5 years of Experience in working on technology projects supporting user applications and working with clients to identify system issues and improvements for functionality
5 years Experience in obtaining, understanding, and writing business, user and functional requirements, use cases, data and process models, workflows and technical documents with attention to detail.
3 years of Experience working with a Relational Database Management system.
2 years of Experience evaluating system software.
A plus if you have - Business Analysis Professional Certification
A plus if you have - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Natural Sciences, or related field.
Candidate must pass NY State Police and NY State Public Safety Cluster background investigation, including fingerprint check
This is a full-time salaried position with a group company within NTT DATA. Please note, 1099 or corp-2-corp contractors will NOT be considered.
