Qualifications:
Holds a valid Virginia teaching license with significant successful full-time teaching experience in the K-5 level
One year experience as Steps to Literacy or Pathways classroom teacher or Steps to Literacy or Pathways Reading Resource Teacher preferred
Has demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
Has demonstrated leadership skills, and understanding of how adults acquire and apply knowledge
Uses a team approach and collaboration to accomplish tasks and promote collaboration to improve instruction and student learning
Job Description:
The Pathways to Reading and Writing Trainer provides support to schools that have implemented the Steps to Literacy and Pathways to Reading and Writing Literacy programs. The Pathways to Reading and Writing Trainer serves as a county resource providing coordination, planning and professional developments to help the teachers at the Pathways schools effectively implement the literacy program.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the implementation of the Pathways literacy program
Models, observes, and assesses classroom practices in Pathways schools
Manage and order instructional materials associated with the Pathways Program
Attends and conducts Pathways training sessions for the cohort
Coordinates and attends colleague visits for Pathways Schools
Attends monthly facilitator and implementation meetings as scheduled
Collects and assesses student data
Collaborates with teachers and literacy teams to help analyze student data, solve problems, and make instructional decisions
Communicates with building administrators about literacy implementations and needs
Performs related work as required
Organizational Relationships:
The Pathways to Reading and Writing Trainer serves as a school and county resource who reports directly to the Elementary Reading Supervisor and the Director of Instructional Services.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
