Job Duties Responsibilities GEICO Staff Counsel seeks an experienced attorney to join its office in Nashville, TN. Applicants must be active members of the Tennessee Bar in good standing. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in personal injury litigation and demonstrated ability as the attorney with primary trial responsibility in cases of moderate severity and complexity. Significant first chair jury trials with 6-10 years' experience handling personal injury cases including some cases of significant severity and complexity preferred. Insurance defense experience in Tennessee is strongly preferred. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing their own caseload from inception to jury trial and must have the necessary experience to immediately assume mature files. Travel required, including but not limited, to attend trials, hearings, depositions, meetings and conferences in all jurisdictions covered by the office.
