The primary goal of this position is to manage all professional learning technologies and related processes for the Learning and Talent Development team, as well as contribute to individual virtual learning projects as needed. This role will create and implement a strategy for more fully leveraging our current virtual development and delivery tools in the learning process in collaboration with our team and business practice areas. The qualified individual has expertise in learning theory and design, as well as technology systems to more fully leverage innovative tools in our processes. The successful individual needs to be able to bridge information technology with instructional systems design. We need to bring more technology into our learning solutions and desire to be on the leading edge.

Professional Skills
Demonstrated success at project leadership and program implementation; Significant project management experience is required in a learning technologies related role
Excellent facilitation skills, assertive and willing to challenge conventional thinking
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; including the ability to handle client relationships effectively, assertive and demonstrated skills in handling difficult conversations, managing stakeholders and translating ambiguous ideas into action
eLearning Strategy and Solution Development
Significant experience building virtual or mobile learning solutions or performance support tools
Experience implementing and maintaining distance learning technologies to include LMS, content development tools, collaboration tools, and databases
Ability to align training solutions to organizational problems and priorities
Strong data gathering, analysis and comprehension of the technical infrastructure, hardware and software as it supports operations
Understanding of the e-learning industry including recent trends; ability to identify solutions based on infrastructure assessment
Instructional Design
In-depth experience in needs assessment and analysis, as well as cost/benefit analysis of alternative approaches to learning solutions
Significant experience with skills-based learning for diverse and virtual audiences
Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques, issues and approaches related to adult learning
Knowledge and ability to modify facets of technology to support the distributed learning environment to include web technologies, distance learning architectures, and implementation of content within a learning management system
Demonstrated mastery of advanced instructional technology principles, methods, techniques, and standards
Thorough understanding of the pedagogies associated with effective use of learning technologies and the adult learner
Technologies and Tools
Experience with SharePoint (preferably 2013) and the ability to leverage this tool for application with learning processes and technologies
Experience creating and maintaining e-learning materials including the design of user interfaces, animations, user interactions and assessments for AICC and SCORM e-learning courses; proficiency with web authoring and editing tools (Captivate, Adobe Presenter, Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
Experience with Virtual Learning Environments (e.g. LearnLive, WebEx, etc)
Understanding of web technologies to include IIS, HTML, XML, ASP, JavaScript
Familiarity with SCORM, ISD concepts and implementing courses within LMS/LCMS/repository technologies
Minimum
Qualifications:
M.A., M.S. M.Ed. Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, Communications, Computer Science, Education, Distance Learning, or Human Performance Technology or significant commensurate years of relevant experience implementing learning technology solutions.
Six to eight years related experience, four years in training/education including at least two years managing and/or applying the principles of systematic instructional design or performance-based/ competency-based training.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
