Local Portage county company is in need of a talented MIG welder for their production department. This person will be responsible for the detailed and careful MIG welding of steel and aluminum parts in a fast paced and efficient manufacturing environment. The welder will need to verify and test/inspect welds as well. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and productive work environment. We want welders who take pride in their work and want to weld a quality product as a part of a great team.
Requirements
- Must have great attention to detail and an ability to produce quality parts
- Must have experience with welding steel, preferably the ability to weld aluminum as well but will train the right person
- Must be punctual and have a desire to work and succeed
- Solid understanding of ergonomics, basic equipment maintenance and good OSHA workplace safety practice!
