Seeking Senior Tax Analyst - AGSTA
Our Client Company is a major supplier of innovative replacement filtration products and services, with customers throughout the commercial and industrial markets. They are currently seeking a Senior Tax Analyst in Gastonia, NC. The salary is 60K -75K dollars, depending on experience. No relocation assistance is available.
The Senior Tax Analyst assists in the preparation, review, and analysis of tax work papers that support various tax payments and return filings. Working with the tax manager, this individual compiles data needed to prepare and support tax return filings. He or she maintains tax software and a tax-filing calendar, and processes tax payments. The Senior Tax Analyst assists in tax-accounting analysis and taxable-income projections. The Senior Tax Analyst also maintains depreciation calculations and reports that support tax filings. Additionally, this individual works on various, miscellaneous projects involving sales tax, property tax, tax credits, etc., as needed.
Requirements:
(Note: Only candidates with the following qualifications will be considered)
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related field; or an MBA, MST, and/or CPA (preferred)
Three to five years of tax experience in either a public accounting firm or a corporate setting

years of federal tax and international tax experience
State tax experience (a plus, but not required)
Experience with ASC 740 (FAS 109 and FIN 48), tax compliance, tax controversy and tax planning
Working knowledge of tax software such as Corptax or RIA OneSource (preferred)
