years experiences in Databases and business intelligence infrastructure technologies solutions
o 5
years experience in Architecture and designing of DW, BI, OLTP and OLAP MS SQL and Oracle databases technologies.
o Demonstrated expert level-knowledge assisting customers in architecting, planning, testing and deploying Microsoft SQL Cluster, Oracle RAC, EDW using PDW, Big data analytics, Hadoop, IBM big insight Infrastructure solutions.
o Experience overseeing (from a technical perspective) multiple projects.
o SQL 2008 R2 at a minimum, SSAS a must
o Exposure to SQL 2012 a plus
o Experience with large scale DW solutions (SQL PDW, Teradata, Netezza) a plus
o Experimentation with NoSQL technologies and Hadoop Azure is a major plus
o Several years hands-on SQL Server development experience including:
o DW schema design, implementation and optimization
o ETL framework design, implementation and management
o Physical implementation, optimization, backup, DR strategies
o Advanced SQL Server features such as always-on technologies, scalability, audit and compliance
o Design, develop and deploy SSIS packages
o Design, develop and deploy SSRS and PowerPivot solutions
o SharePoint and .Net development experience is a plus
o Fluent in relational database architecture/design, clustering, RAC concepts
o Database Technology: SQL Server, Hadoop, Clouderaetc.
o ETL Technology: SSIS, informatica
o BI Technology: SSRS, SSAS, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Spotfire
o Experience with any of the following is a plus: Cloud IaaS/PaaS, Azure, O365, Cloud Integration etc.
o Experience facilitating meetings with multiple customers and technical staff, including building consensus and mediating compromises when necessary.
Demonstrated ability to understand a customer's needs and articulate messaging technologies to key stakeholders.
Technical Requirements:
o Extensive, real-world experience designing enterprise solutions and defining solution architectures
o Experience building and supporting mission critical infrastructure for critical applications, running in a highly distributed manner.
o Experience with multi-tier system development for large enterprises
o Exposure to infrastructure and application security technologies and approaches
o Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends and standards
o Experience in development lifecycle management
o Experience in project and task planning
Familiarity with various requirements gathering techniques
Certification Requirements:
o One of the following additional certification will support the required technology understanding to perform this role:
o Microsoft Certified Architect: Messaging Program.
o MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 - Configuration Program
o ITIL, MCSE, CCNA, PMP etc.
