Automotive Quality Engineer - Corporate Liaison

Client Company is seeking an Automotive Quality Engineer - Liaison for their manufacturing facility located in Canton, MS.; however, position reports to Corporate Quality Manager in Michigan Corporate Office. Selected candidate needs to have experience in the following areas: Advanced Quality Product Planning (APQP); Launch, and Current Quality knowledge; Supplier readiness and development experience; Knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, Gauge Usage and Selection; Process Capability Studies; and Machine Capability Studies. Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP); Design review; Quality Planning; New Part Approval Process (PPAP); and Product Launch/Verification/Testing. Good overall experience in Quality Engineering and Customer Interface.
Candidate should be well versed in all cross functional engineering areas to include: Product Engineering; Manufacturing Engineering; Quality Engineering and Program Management. Cradle to Grave Engineering experience desired.
