The inventory optimization/replenishment material handler is responsible for placing inventory in an accurate, organized manner to ensure an efficient picking, packing, and shipping environment. This position is also responsible for replenishing inventory into a pick face and working with all forms of inventory to align it according to velocity reports (highest to lowest usage). They are expected to be a self-starter looking for ways to improve processes and add value.
The following is a list of typical duties for this position:
? Arrange inventory in accordance with internal product standards.
? Move inventory from a finished goods location to a fixed bin location that is conducive for order fulfillment.
? Count and verify quantities of inventory.
? Report discrepancies to the Inventory Accuracy Team and help fix discrepancies as needed.
? Complete weekly inventory projects as directed.
? Ensure that projects are kept organized, efficient, and timely to avoid confusion with the activities of other departments.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
